Understanding Your Journey
You are a composite of strengths, experiences, talents, skills, beliefs, values, and gifts. These are all a part of who you are.
This powerful workshop is now re-designed as a small group coaching session that helps attendees increase their self-awareness of how they are designed. The better you understand your internal design, the better you will understand the purposes you were designed to pursue.
Uniqueness
We are all unique creations, with a uniqueness composite of your talents, gifts, passions, heredity, cultural experiences, education and training. Even the very words spoken over and to us have helped to shape us into who we are today.
How much do you really know about who you really are?
As you go through this workshop, some circumstances and events you will want to embrace and build upon, while others you may want to dismiss and replace with new ideas and concepts.
Your Strengths
Strengths are innate talents that include spiritual and natural gifts, as well as talents that are already inside you.
These are often things that seem to come very natural to us, and that we seem to be good at without a much effort. Even though they come easily, they only become genuine strengths when they are developed. We develop them by adding knowledge, training, and practice.
Think of them as tools that have been given by an intelligent Creator, and given to you for specific purposes planned for you. You will need awareness and understanding of these strengths to maximize your performance in life, somewhere and for someone.
Passions
Passions are things that motivate us to take action, such as poverty, hunger, sickness, domestic violence, leadership, building wealth, to name a few.
It is important to realize it is not the thing itself that actually motivates us, but the people who are affected by the things; that is, people who live in poverty, those who are hungry or sick; people who suffer through domestic violence, or those forced to work under abusive leaders. Our Passions are always about helping and/or serving people.
It is the people you are called to serve that you must recognize and not the things.

The Purpose By Design workshop is based on the concept that everything created is created by a Creator, and created to meet a specific need. The need determines how it will be designed. If we understand its design, we understand its purpose.
As you go through the workshop, you will be discovering intimate details about how you are designed. When you are finished, you will better understand the need for which you were created.
At the end of the workshop and after you have completed and submitted all of the workshop assignments, your GALLUP StrengthsFinder Assessment, and your spiritual gifts assessment, you will take the data you have discovered and use it to create your own Personal Vision and Mission Statement.
The GALLUP assessment is not included in the price of the workshop, and must be purchased from the GALLUP website.
